Anyone renewing their ACC, PCC credential

  • The group ICF mentoring session are held on the last weekend of every month on Saturdays from 12 - 1:30 pm EST and Sundays from 12 - 1:30 pm EST

  • You’ll join our Born to Coach®️ Training Academy students in group ICF mentoring sessions on our school Zoom line. Each session will begin with a 10-minute breathing meditation and exercise to increase focus.

Next, we will listen to a recorded coaching session together that has passed at the ACC, PCC, or MCC level. Every 5-10 minutes, we will pause the recording to discuss as a group what coaching skills are being demonstrated. We'll reflect on where ACC, PCC, or MCC markers are being used and identify opportunities for more efficient implementation.

  • You’ll be scheduling your two 90 min private ICF mentoring sessions with one of our PCC level trainers at a time that is convenient for your schedule.

For the sessions you'll bring 2 different recorded client/volunteer coaching sessions (with your client/volunteer’s permission first!) where you were coaching, a completed feedback form of you evaluating your call and a transcription of each recording. You and your trainer will listen to the session together and review your understanding of the ACC min requirements, or PCC markers (depending on which credential you are going for!) ICF Code of Ethics and ICF Core Competencies and abilities to implement them into your coaching sessions. Your trainer will also provide feedback and suggestions on how to expand on your coaching skillset in order to effectively coach at the ACC/PCC level.

  • As per ICF requirements, mentoring must happen over at least a 3-month span. You’ll have between 3 - 6 months to complete your 10 ICF mentor hours with our school.

  • No. If you would like to be eligible to apply for one of your ICF credentials then you must complete a Level 1 or Level 2 ICF accredited coach training school first, receive your school’s coaching certificate and meet your required coaching hours. In our Level 2 Born to Coach Training Academy we provide you with a start to finish coaching experience that includes the 10 ICF mentor coaching hours and will give you the eligibility to apply for your ACC or PCC. You can read more details about our Born to Coach Training Academy HERE!

  • The ICF application process can take 3-6 months. For these reasons, consider commencing mentoring at least 9 – 12 months earlier than you expect to apply for your first or next credential, or renew your current credential.
