Earning your ICF credentials is one of the smartest moves you can make as a professional life coach!

Here are 6 reasons why:

#1: ICF credentials help you stand out from other coaches

There's a lot of coaches out there but not all of them are taking the time to educate themselves properly. When clients are searching for professional coaches they are going to be looking for your qualifications and probably choosing coaches that are certified and have credentials over coaches who aren't.

#2: ICF credentials make you more credible and legit as a professional coach.

The imposter feeling can creep up often for coaches and I find that the more education you have under your belt the more you can confidently keep that imposter feeling at bay because you'll know what you're doing to get your client's life changing results.

Once you earn your ICF credentials, you've pledged to abide by the ICF Code of Ethics meaning that you're going to treat your client's fairly and not scam or take advantage of them in anyway which unfortunately some coaches do.

#4: You'll have more job opportunities and make more money as a coach.

Most companies and apps will want to see that you've graduated from an ICF accredited coach training program and have proof of ICF credentials prior to hiring you to work for them.

#5: You’ll be ahead of the curve with standardization

As of right now the coaching industry is not regulated but when that changes in the future, you won't have to put your practice on hold while you go back to school and take the time to get your credentials.
